My artistic process

While training for many years as an artist, I experimented with diverse techniques. As aresultmy imagination flourished and myinner vision found a way to freely express itself.

Through re-invented forms, emotions and contemplation on nature; through readings, contact with other cultures and other universes, my art emphasizes the artistic expression of my inner experiences rather than that of concreterepresentation.

I apply the medium in two stages : I begin either with a preliminary sketch or, using a spatula or trowel, I apply a pastedirectly to the canvas to createfurrow, ridges, hollows and textures. Once dry, I begin stage two : the inclusion of colorthroughconsecutivelayers of acrylic, encaustic, dry or oil pastel, and oil.
